Are you the next Procurement Manager to join our team?

Los Altos, California

We’re seeking to hire a full-time procurement manager, in a hybrid work environment, 3 days in-person and 2 days remote. If you’re a collaborative, detail oriented and a meticulous individual, we encourage you to apply. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience within the design industry. Loves data, numbers, making spreadsheets, is analytical and process driven. Enjoys the world of residential design, bespoke furnishings and construction.

The main responsibilities though not limited to the following:

  • Request quotes, create purchase orders and strong knowledge of procurement processes
  • Create and maintain specification schedules and timelines for materials, fixtures, and furnishings
  • Order placement and management, expediting and receiving, invoicing, scheduling, inspections and installation coordination
  • Work closely with design team in facilitating processes
  • Client and vendor payments, pay bills, run reports, work with accounting team in reconciliation and accounts receivable
  • Enter and manage project related reimbursements and expenses

Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the US
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, accounting or related field
  • Proficiency in Studio Designer is a must, knowledge of microsoft office suite and google workspace
  • Familiarity in Autocad, Adobe suite, Sketch up etc. a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Work with architects, contractors, vendors and tradespeople.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines, without compromising quality of work
  • Problem solver, willingness to learn and work in tandem with design team
  • A network of industry connections, vendors, suppliers and artisans a plus
  • Current driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • Salary and benefits: Commensurate with experience
